Eggnog Bread  

2 tablespoons sugar

1 package active dry yeast

2-1/2 cups all purpose flour

2 tablespoons butter

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

3/4 cup Eggnog, room temperature

 

Place ingredients. in the bread machine according to

your manufacturers' directions. This makes a real moist, light large loaf.

Apple Spice Bread 

1-1/4 cups water

2 tablespoon margarine or butter, softened (to make it fat free use

applesauce)

3-1/4 cups bread flour

2 tablespoons sugar

2 tablespoons dry milk

1-1/2 teaspoons salt

2 teaspoons apple pie spice

2-1/2 teaspoons regular active dry yeast or 2-teaspoons bread machine yeast

1/2 cup dried apples, diced finely

 

Place all of the ingredients in bread pan, except for apples. Use sweet or white

bread cycle and light setting. Add the apples at mix in beep or about 15 minutes

after starting machine.

Cheddar Buttermilk Bread 

1-1/4 cups buttermilk

1 egg

3/4 cup (3-ounce) Cheddar cheese, shredded

3 cups flour

1 tablespoon sugar

3/4 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon bread machine yeast

 

Add ingredients in bread pan in order listed.

Use the light setting, white bread. Yields; 1-1/2 pound loaf.

Honey Wheat Bread

1 cup of water

3 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons margarine or butter, softened

2 cups Whole Wheat flour

1 cup bread machine flour

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoons bread machine yeast

 

Add all of the ingredients according to

suggested by your manufacture instruction. 

Bake on Whole Wheat cycle.

Beer Bread

1 package yeast

1 cup rye flour

2-1/2 cup bread flour

2 tablespoon wheat germ

1 teaspoon salt

1 cup beer, flat, room temperature

2 tablespoon molasses

2 teaspoon orange rind, grated

6 teaspoon applesauce, unsweetened

1/4 cup water, 120-degrees

 

Place all of the ingredients in machine according to

manufacturers instructions given by your machine.

Yield: 14 servings.
